Clay Creature reflection.
1. I think think the strong parts of my project were the shape and the with was really good for the size.
2. I think the detail and size coud have been better. Also I would have chosen another animal.
3. My creature is a snail. I chose to do this animal because I thought it would be cool to do something different. My theme/ unity is snail.
4. My project, because it is a snail has a circular bottom and a cone shaped top. The head is a thick almost square with two long eyes on it.
5.I think that the desgin on my project stands out. I think it will stand out better when it is painted.
6. I learned that if you have questions you should ask someone that is more experienced. In this case we could have asked for help from someone in the clay class because it might be more helpful then asking the substitute who is overwhelmed with students who have questoins.
7. First I decided to do an owl. I wanted to do something that I would enjoy to look a. Then I realized just how diffiult this projectmight be. Second iI changed my mind and decided to do a snail because its something different. Last I put the snail together doing the whole process (shpaing, holowing and carving) then I let it dry a little.
8. I think that this project is worth while when you have your instructor. Also i think that this would be a good project to do if majority rules in a vote. I would share with the class next year what happened in past years before doing the vote so they know what they are getting into and how difficult it might be.
